Rejuvenating Exercise to Refresh and Vitalize you...

 

I'm so excited to share with you my favorite rejuvenating exercises that can help refresh and revive your energy! We all know that taking care of our bodies is essential, so why not make it something fun?

These exercises are designed to get your heart rate up, increase blood flow throughout the body, and give you an overall feeling of refreshment and revitalization. From running to yoga to Pilates, there are countless ways you can make exercising enjoyable while also getting your daily dose of physical activity.

In this blog post, I'll be introducing you to 10 of my favorite exercises that will get your blood pumping and give you an energizing workout. So grab a mat and some water, and let's get energized!

Start Your Day With Sun Salutations


The sun salutation is an age-old series of postures that promises to either start or finish your day with confidence and energy. It can be used to kickstart your morning off right or relax your body and mind before bed.

This revitalizing exercise is composed of 12 postures, all connected with deep breathing, and is a perfect way to warm up for more strenuous activities, or wind down after an intense feature. It also stretches the spine and back muscles, increases mobility in the hips and shoulders, tones your core, improves digestion, boosts circulation, all while releasing stress from daily life.

This easy-to-learn routine only requires a few minutes of your time every day (just five rounds can make a difference!). Plus, it’s an exercise that you can do on vacation as well as in the comfort of home! So don't forget about this fantastic workout for a quick reset when life gets hectic.

Practice Deep Yoga Breathing

Take a deep breath and relax. One of the best exercises for refreshing your body and mind is deep yoga breathing. Breathing deeply helps to encourage oxygen flow throughout your body, releasing tension and any built-up stress. Doing this exercise regularly can help to improve circulation, reduce fatigue, and calm the mind and body.

When doing this exercise, it is important to focus on each breath, inhaling from your nose and exhaling from your mouth. The most beneficial techniques involve using a combination of abdominal and diaphragmatic breathing that involves counting each inhale and exhale up to 4. This encourages deeper, more concentrated breaths that will result in greater relaxation benefits.

Once you’ve done several rounds of deep breathing, the effects should be noticeable, you should feel more energized, focused, and connected with your own body. Doing this exercise regularly can help you stay centered in moments of chaos or distress, making it an essential part of any rejuvenating activity routine.

Do a Quick Bodyweight Circuit

I'm here to tell you why a quick bodyweight circuit should be a part of your rejuvenating exercise routine! First and foremost, bodyweight exercises are really easy to learn; all you need is distance, and if you don't have any equipment at home, that's completely okay - all you've got to do is keep moving.

Secondly, these exercises are incredibly effective - from stretching your muscles and improving flexibility to strengthening your core and burning some serious calories. However, what I find the most rewarding about bodyweight circuits is that there's no real 'perfect' or 'right' way of doing them - as long as you feel comfortable with whatever movement it is that you're doing.

Here's an example of a simple circuit:

1.      Five push ups followed by 15 seconds of rest

2.      10 squats with 10-second rest after each set

3.      20 sit ups with 15-second break in between sets

4.      30 jumping jacks and 10-second rest periods after each set

5.      10 burpees followed by a 15-second break

6.      Finish off with 5 more push ups!

Repeat this circuit two or three times for maximum effect - trust me, your body will thank you later!

Go for a Walk in Nature

When it comes to rejuvenating exercises, going for a walk in nature is an underrated gem. All you need is a pair of comfortable shoes, some good tunes and maybe your favorite book or podcast. You can take your time to enjoy the scenery, breathe in the fresh air and appreciate the beauty around you, all while getting some much-needed exercise!

There are so many benefits to taking a walk in nature:



·         Improved mood: Studies show that nature has a positive effect on mood, with people feeling happier after spending just twenty minutes outside.

·         Stress relief: When we're in nature we feel less stressed because our brains get to relax, so there's no better way to unwind after a stressful day than by taking a stroll in your local park or forest.

·         Better physical health: Walking in nature has been linked to improved cardiovascular health and even lower risks of developing certain diseases like cancer and diabetes.

Go ahead, give yourself permission to take some time out of your day and make it all about you! Whether it’s twenty minutes or two hours, make sure you reap the restorative benefits that come with being outdoors.

Try Tai Chi

As busy professionals, many of us don’t have time to commit to rigorous daily workouts. That’s why I love the ancient practice of tai chi! It takes up minimal time and is slow enough that you won’t get too sweaty, but it comes with a world of wellness benefits.

Tai chi is a low-impact exercise that helps promote relaxation and balance. It involves gentle movements and deep breathing, which can help you become more aware of your body and its movements. Once you get the hang of it, you should be able to execute a full routine within 10 minutes or less!

Tai chi also has multiple healing benefits. It can help relieve stress, reduce anxiety and depression, increase strength and balance, boost energy levels, improve flexibility and much more. It’s even been found to strengthen your immune system by promoting healthy blood flow throughout the body!

The best part? You can do tai chi almost anywhere, it doesn’t require any fancy equipment or gym memberships. So why not give it a try today? You (and your body) won’t regret it!

Swim Laps at the Pool

As someone who's been feeling a little burnt out, swimming laps at the pool is an amazing way to refresh and energize your mind and body. Not only does it qualify as aerobic exercise, but it's also a great way to relax and unwind.



With each stroke, you'll notice:

1.      An increased heart rate, pumping more blood and oxygen to the cells in your body. This helps flush out toxins that can make you feel sluggish and unmotivated!

2.      A calming effect - submerging yourself in the water helps keep away distractions so you can focus on your lane and breathing technique.

3.      A way to multitask - swimming works both your upper and lower body, allowing you to tone muscles while improving your overall fitness at the same time!

In addition, doing laps at the pool also helps improve core strength, balance, coordination, and flexibility, all of which can help revamp your overall health. Try setting small goals for yourself each day; by doing this regularly for a few weeks, I guarantee you'll find yourself feeling recharged after each session!
